For 1990-2009 cars only
- Scribe the knuckle along the lower outboard strut radius shown by the dotted line (1). Use a sharp tool.
- Scribe the strut flange on the inboard side along the curve of the knuckle shown by the dotted line (2).
- Make a scribe mark across the strut/knuckle interface (3).
- Match the marks to the components during reassembly.
