As outlined in the Pontiac Service Policies and Procedures Manual, an administrative allowance of .2 hours can be claimed with certain warranty repairs that are sublet to an AC-Delco repair station or other qualified service outlets. The labor operations that are eligible for this allowance are identified in the Pontiac Labor Time guide by the Policy Code "S."
In the Introduction to the Labor Time Guide, it instructs the dealer to add the .2 hour allowance to the regular "labor hours" in error. If this is done the .2 hour will be deleted and the remainder of the claim will be paid. In order to receive the allowance, it must be entered in the other labor hours (OLH) portion of the claim during the original submission.
General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
