LOW COOL LIGHT/ACCEL. OR BRAKE DISCONNECT LOW COOL MODULE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987 'L' CARS WITH LB6 2.8L V6 ENGINES (VIN CODE W)

Some vehicles may exhibit an intermitent low coolant light on acceleration or braking conditions, when coolant is not low. This condition can be repaired by disconnecting the low coolant module, under the dash and taping the lead to wiring harness, as shown in Illustrations.

The following breakpoints are VIN numbers of vehicles that have already been repaired at the assembly plant.
