Scan Tool Output Control

Description

A/C LED

Engine Output Controls

The scan tool displays A/C LED ON or OFF selections. This command allows you to turn On the A/C LED status light, when the A/C compressor is commanded ON.

A/C Relay

Engine Output Controls

The scan tool displays ON or OFF selections. This command allows you to turn the A/C relay On or Off. When the A/C relay is commanded On, the A/C compressor clutch should be engaged.

Blower Motor Speed

Engine Output Controls

The scan tool displays 0-100 percent blower motor selections. This selection allows you to command on the blower motor in 10 percent increments. The blower motor should be On. The HVAC Control Module must be in the On state before selecting the output control.

Mode Door

Engine Output Controls

When you select ON, the HVAC control module commands the mode actuator toward the maximum door position. The actuator moves the door to the panel position. When you select OFF, the HVAC control module commands the mode actuator toward the minimum door position. The actuator moves the door to the floor position.

Rear Defog LED

Engine Output Controls

The scan tool displays Rear Defog LED On or Off. This command allows you to turn On or Off the Rear Defog LED status light.

Recirculation LED

Engine Output Controls

This scan tool displays Recirculation LED On or Off. This command allows you to turn On the Recirculation Actuator LED status light.

Temperature Door

Engine Output Controls

When you select ON, the HVAC control module commands the air temperature actuator toward the maximum door position. The actuator moves the door to the full hot position. When you select OFF, the HVAC control module commands the air temperature actuator toward the minimum door position. The actuator moves the door to the full cold position.

Update Air Temperature

Engine Output Controls

The scan tool displays Commanded State: None or On. This function updates the HVAC control module outside air temperature input to the current raw value.

Description

A/C Request

BCM Output Controls

The scan tool displays ON or OFF selections. This command allows you to turn the A/C relay On or Off. When the A/C relay is commanded On, the A/C compressor clutch should be engaged.

All Status LED

BCM Output Controls

The scan tool displays status of the A/C LED ON or OFF selections. This command allows you to turn On the A/C LED status light, when the A/C compressor is commanded ON.

Air Inlet Door

BCM Output Controls

When you select ON, the HVAC control module commands the recirculation actuator toward the fresh air or open door position. When you select OFF, the HVAC control module commands the recirc actuator toward the closed or recirc door position.

Blower Motor Speed

The scan tool displays 0-100 percent blower motor selections. This selection allows you to command on the blower motor in 10 percent increments. The blower motor should be On. The HVAC Control Module must be in the On state before selecting the output control.
