Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1325638 Size: SH
  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

    3. Object Number: 1835407 Size: SH
  3. Remove the air cleaner bolt.
  4. Disengage the air cleaner pins from the front panel and remove the air cleaner assembly.
  5. If replacing the air cleaner assembly, remove the MAF/IAT sensor. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor/Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1835407 Size: SH
  1. If the air cleaner assembly was replaced, install the MAF/IAT sensor. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor/Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement.
  2. Install the air cleaner assembly by inserting the two pins into the front panel.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the air cleaner bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAF/IAT sensor.
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
