Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Remove the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement .
3. Support the transmission with a transmission jack.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
50 N·m (37 lb ft)

Transmission Mount

Procedure

Using the transmission jack, lift the transmission just enough to gain clearance to remove the transmission mount from between the frame bracket and the transmission mount bracket.
