The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment of Service Engine Soon light on with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P2610 stored.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Engineering has identified a concern with the ECM software. DO NOT replace the ECM to correct this concern, erase the DTC and return the vehicle to the customer. A revised calibration to correct this condition will be available in TIS shortly and a service bulletin will be published.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
