Water Outlet Replacement for Pontiac Torrent 2009

1. Remove the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement.
2. Remove the water outlet housing bolts (1).
3. Remove the housing.
4. Remove the water outlet housing O-ring seal (2).
5. Remove the water outlet housing seal (3). Discard seal.

1. Install a NEW water outlet housing seal (3).
2. Install a NEW water outlet housing O-ring seal (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the water outlet housing bolts (1) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
4. Install the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement.
