Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner and the duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Element .
  2. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe. Refer to Exhaust System.

    3. Object Number: 48173 Size: SH
  3. Depress the servo cover (40).
  4. Remove the following components of the servo cover:
    5. • The servo snap ring (39)
    • The servo cover (40)
    • The servo O-ring seal (41)
    • The servo piston (42-48)
    • The apply pin (48)
    • The servo spring (49)

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 48173 Size: SH
  1. Install the servo spring (49).
  2. Install the apply pin (48).
  3. Install the servo piston (42-48).
  4. The servo O-ring seal (41)
  5. Install the servo cover (40).
  6. Install the snap ring (39).
  7. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe. Refer to General Exhaust System Replacement in Exhaust System.
  8. Remove the air cleaner and the duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Element In Engine Controls.
