Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 105887  Size: SH
  1. Remove the bolt and the nut from the engine mount strut at the right engine mount strut bracket on the engine.

  2. Object Number: 105883  Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolt and the nut from the engine mount strut at the left engine mount strut bracket on the engine.

  4. Object Number: 61850  Size: SH
  5. Remove the bolts and the nuts from the engine mount struts at the engine mount strut brackets on the upper radiator support.
  6. Remove the engine mount struts.
  7. Inspect the rubber in the engine mount struts for the following conditions:
  8. • Hardness
    • Splitting
    • Cracking

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 61850  Size: SH
  1. Install the engine mount struts.
  2. Install the bolts and the nuts to the engine mount struts at the engine mount strut brackets on the upper radiator support.
  3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 48 N·m (35 lb ft).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the bolt and the nut to the engine mount strut at the left engine mount strut bracket on the engine.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 48 N·m (35 lb ft).

  6. Install the bolt and the nut to the engine mount strut at the right engine mount strut bracket on the engine.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 48 N·m (35 lb ft).
