Effective immediately, GM dealers purchasing service publications from Helm, Inc. now have the option of having Owner's Manuals and Service Manuals shipped to an address other than the dealership.
Modifications of the telephone and internet ordering processes at Helm, Inc. have made this change possible. Dealers can now ship these manuals directly to the address requested by the customer. All U.S. and Canadian GM dealer purchases will continue to be billed to the dealer's open account.
This enhancement was implemented on the advice of the Dealer Fixed Operations Advisory Board, and is another example demonstrating the effectiveness of the DFOAB process.
