Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 886414 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the reservoir hose from the radiator.
  2. Disconnect the fan motor electrical connector.
  3. Disconnect two fan motor electrical harness clamps from the fan shroud.
  4. Remove two fan shroud bolts.
  5. Remove the fan shroud and motor assembly.
  6. Remove the fan retaining nut.
  7. Remove two radiator fan mount bolts.
  8. Remove the radiator fan motor.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 886414 Size: SH
  1. Position the radiator fan and the radiator fan motor to the shroud.
  2. Install one radiator fan nut.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the radiator fan nut to 6.2 N·m (55 lb in).

  3. Install two radiator fan mount bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the radiator fan bolts to 3.8 N·m (34 lb in).

  4. Position the radiator fan and shroud assembly into the vehicle then install two fan shroud bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the radiator fan shroud bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  5. Connect two fan motor electrical harness clamps to the fan shroud.
  6. Connect the fan motor electrical connector.
  7. Connect the reservoir hose to the radiator.
