Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 835770 Size: SH
  2. Remove the center knob from the HVAC control unit.
  3. Remove the screw from the control unit.
  4. Remove the center console and heater control trim panel (1).
  5. Remove the electrical connector from the HVAC control unit.

    6. Object Number: 835774 Size: SH
  6. Remove the mode control cable from the HVAC control unit.

    7. Object Number: 835778 Size: SH
  7. Remove the following from the HVAC control unit:
    8. • The temperature control cable
    • The A/C cable
  8. Remove the HVAC control unit.
  9. Remove the following from the HVAC control unit:
    10. • The mode control and temperature control knobs
    • The lamp bulbs

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 835778 Size: SH
  1. Install the following to the HVAC control unit:
    2. • The lamp bulbs
    • The mode control and temperature control knobs
    • The electrical connector
    • The mode control cable
    • The temperature control cable
    • The A/C cable
  2. Install the HVAC control unit to the instrument panel.

    3. Object Number: 835770 Size: SH
  3. Install the center console and heater control trim panel (1). Secure the panel with the screw.
  4. Install the center knob to the HVAC control unit.
  5. Adjust the cables as necessary, refer to the following:
    6. •  Temperature Control Cable Adjustment
    •  Mode Linkage Adjustment
  6. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
