The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

A customer might comment that their odometer will NOT advance past 299,999 Thousand Miles/KM. This is a mechanical limitation of the odometer in the instrument cluster.

The cluster CANNOT be reprogrammed to advance the mileage past this display limitation.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
