The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
On rare occasions, a SES light and P0133 DTC may be experienced with no engine performance concerns. Typically, this will be a history DTC that is hard to duplicate. This may be the result of an intake gasket that only leaks during engine warm up.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If the SI diagnostics do not isolate a cause for this concern, replace the intake manifold gasket and evaluate the concern.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
