Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 886850 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.

    2. Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from theft deterrent module (3).
  4. Remove the screw (2) from the theft deterrent module bracket (1).
  5. Remove the theft deterrent module (3) with bracket (1) from the vehicle.
  6. Remove the theft deterrent module (3) from bracket (1), if necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 886850 Size: SH
  1. Install the bracket (1) to the theft deterrent module (3), if removed.
  2. Install the theft deterrent module (3) with bracket (1) to the vehicle.
  3. Secure the theft deterrent module bracket (1) with the screw (2).
  4. Connect the theft deterrent module electrical connector (4).
  5. Install the instrument panel compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
  7. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
