Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 Vibe - AWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls and Fuel - 1.8L (LAY) 🢒 Fuel Pressure Regulator Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the fuel pump. Refer to Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter Assembly Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2016688 Size: SH

    Note: Slowly pull out the fuel pressure regulator assembly because the O-ring is firmly installed between the regulator and the fuel filter.

  2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the fuel pressure regulator assembly (1).

    3. Object Number: 2016690 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 2 O-rings (1) from the pressure regulator assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2016690 Size: SH
  1. Apply oil to 2 new O-rings (1) and then install them to the fuel pressure regulator assembly.

    2. Object Number: 2016693 Size: SH
  2. Install the fuel pressure regulator assembly.
  3. Install the fuel pump. Refer to Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter Assembly Replacement

    4. Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

  4. Connect the cable to the negative battery terminal.
  5. Inspect for a fuel leak.
