Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2014951 Size: SH
  1. Remove the IP accessory center trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the 4 bolts (1),(2),(3),(4) which secure the radio.
  3. Pull the radio from the instrument panel.
  4. Disconnect the following from the radio:
    5. • The electrical connector
    • The antenna lead

  5. Remove the four screws (1),(2),(3),(4) and the right side bracket.

    6. Object Number: 2014961 Size: SH
  6. Remove the four screws (1),(2),(3),(4) and the left side bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2014961 Size: SH
  1. Install the four screws (1),(2),(3),(4) and the left side bracket.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the four bracket screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  2. Install the four screws (1),(2),(3),(4) and the right side bracket.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the four bracket screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  3. Connect the following from the radio:
    4. • The electrical connector
    • The antenna lead
  4. Install the radio to the instrument panel.
  5. Install the 4 bolts (1),(2),(3),(4) which secure the radio.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the four bolts to 13 N·m (10 lb ft).

  6. Install the IP accessory center trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement.
