Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 Vibe - AWD 🢒 Body Systems 🢒 Lighting 🢒 Backup Lamp Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

    3. Object Number: 2010402 Size: SH
  3. Remove the clips, and disconnect the transmission shift cable.

    4. Object Number: 2010404 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the back-up light switch connector (1) and clamps.
  5. Remove the back-up light switch and gasket from the transaxle case.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the back-up light switch and a new gasket to the transaxle case and tighten to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).

    2. Object Number: 2010413 Size: SH

    Note: Be sure to use boss B.

  2. Install the clamps.
  3. Connect the back-up light switch connector (1).

    4. Object Number: 2010416 Size: SH
  4. Connect the transmission cable with the clips (1, 2).
  5. Install the air cleaner assembly.
  6. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
