Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 Vibe - AWD 🢒 Body Systems 🢒 Lighting 🢒 Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Halogen Bulb Warning in the Preface section.

  1. Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2009584 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolts (1).
  3. Remove the screw (2).
  4. Disengage the clamp.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  6. Remove headlamp assembly from vehicle.

    7. Object Number: 2009585 Size: SH
  7. Remove the highbeam bulb, if necessary by turning counter clockwise.

    8. Object Number: 2009586 Size: SH
  8. Remove the lowbeam bulb, if necessary by turning counter clockwise.
  9. Remove the turn signal lamp bulb, if necessary. Refer to Park/Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Replacement.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the turn signal lamp bulb to the headlamp, if removed. Refer to Park/Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2009589 Size: SH
  2. Install the lowbeam bulb, if removed by turning clock wise.

    3. Object Number: 2009590 Size: SH
  3. Install the highbeam bulb, if removed by turning clock wise.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2009584 Size: SH
  4. Position the headlamp assembly to the vehicle.
  5. Connect the electrical connectors.
  6. Engage the clamp.
  7. Install the screw 2 and tighten to 5.4 N·m(48 lb in).
  8. Install the bolts (1) and tighten to 5.4 N·m(48 lb in).
  9. Install the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
  10. Aim the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Aiming.
  11. Close the hood.
