Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2010829 Size: SH
  1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement.
  2. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement.
  3. Disconnect the wiper motor electrical connector (3).
  4. Remove the 2 wiper motor assembly bolts (1).
  5. Remove the wiper motor assembly (2) from the vehicle.
  6. Remove the wiper transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the wiper motor transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2010843 Size: SH
  2. Position the wiper motor assembly (2) to the cowl.
  3. Install the 2 wiper motor assembly bolts (1) and tighten to 5.5 N·m (48 lb in).
  4. Connect the wiper motor electrical connector (3).
  5. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement.
  6. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement.
