Removal Procedure
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
  2. Remove the trim covers from the steering column. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 2032491 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector (1), if equipped.

    4. Object Number: 2032488 Size: SH
  4. Remove the two screws (2),(3) and the ignition switch (1) from the ignition lock cylinder case.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2032488 Size: SH
  1. Install the ignition switch (1) and the two screws (2),(3) to the ignition lock cylinder case.
  2. Connect the ignition switch electrical connector.

    3. Object Number: 2032491 Size: SH
  3. Connect the ignition switch electrical connector (1), if equipped.
  4. Install the trim covers to the steering column. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement.
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
