For 1990-2009 cars only
- While holding the coil outer casing, turn the coil center casing counterclockwise slowly until the coil reaches the stop.
- Turn the coil center casing clockwise 2.5 turns.
- Align the arrow on the center casing with the arrow on the outer casing (1).
Caution: The new SIR coil assembly will be centered. Improper alignment of the SIR coil assembly may damage the unit, causing an inflatable restraint malfunction.
