When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.
SES light due to a repeat P1349 DTC.
If the CMP actuator sprocket was replaced for a P1349 DTC but the published diagnosis still leads to CMP actuator replacement, make sure that the cam actuator locking pin adjustment procedure was performed when the CMP actuator was replaced. If the adjustment procedure was not performed, the internal CMP actuator locking pin may stick inside of its bore when the CMP actuator bolt is torqued, resulting in a P1349 DTC. To correct this concern, unlock the CMP actuator by following the cam actuator locking pin adjustment procedure in SI document 1462145.
