Cruise Control Resume Function Intermittently Inoperative - keywords control cruise inoperative

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.

Customers may comment that the resume function does not work after they slow down or after coming to a stop.

The cruise control set speed is deleted from the memory of the cruise module when the vehicle speed goes below 25 MPH. This is a normal condition for the cruise control system, no repair attempts should be made.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
