Removal Procedure

  1. Fold down seat back.

  2. Object Number: 833610  Size: SH
  3. Remove the plastic hinge covers (1).
  4. Remove seat back hinge bolts (2).
  5. Remove center seat belt retractor, if necessary. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Center Rear .
  6. Remove the lower bolts (3) from the seat.
  7. Remove the rear seat (4) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Place the rear seat to the anchors.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the lower seat bolts (3).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the lower seat bolts (3) to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  5. Install center seat belt retractor, if removed. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Center Rear .
  6. Install the seat back hinge bolts (2).
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the seat back hinge bolts (2) to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  8. Install the plastic hinge covers (1).
  9. Install the rear seat to its original position.
