For 1990-2009 cars only
- Remove the mode control cable (2) from the clip (1) at the HVAC module assembly.
- Set the mode dial to Defrost.
- Hold the door lever fully rearward, clockwise.
- Install the cable (2) to the clip (1).
- Test the cable for smooth operation.
- Test that the door opens fully in both directions.
