- Disconnect the brake pedal pushrod (1)
from the brake pedal.
- Inspect the brake pedal pushrod clevis (2) for cracks and/or excessive
wear.
- Reposition the pedal pushrod boot (3) toward the front of the vehicle
in order to expose as much of the pedal pushrod as possible.
- Inspect the brake pedal pushrod for straightness.
- If the brake pedal pushrod clevis exhibits cracks and/or excessive wear,
then replace the clevis.
- If the brake pedal pushrod is not straight, then replace the brake booster
order to replace the brake pedal pushrod.
- Return the pedal pushrod boot to its original position on the pedal pushrod.
- Connect the brake pedal pushrod to the brake pedal.
