Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 838634 Size: SH
  1. Remove the generator from the vehicle. Refer to Generator Replacement .
  2. Remove the pulley nut using a box end wrench (2) and a socket wrench (1). Loosen the nut with the box end wrench while holding the rotor shaft with the socket wrench.
  3. Remove the pulley (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 838634 Size: SH
  1. Install the pulley (3) to the generator.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the nut using a box end wrench (2) and a socket wrench (1). Tighten the nut with the box end wrench while holding the rotor shaft with the socket wrench.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the pulley nut to 111 N·m (81 lb ft).

  3. Install the generator to the vehicle. Refer to Generator Replacement .
