Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 820256 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the power steering pressure (PSP) switch connector (3).
  2. Remove the PSP switch from the pump.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Using Proper Power Steering Fluid Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Apply fluid to the sealing portion of the PSP switch. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations .

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the PSP switch to the pump.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the PSP switch to 21 N·m (15.5 lb ft).

    Important: Verify the connectors are clean.

  3. Connect the PSP switch connector (3).
