Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement FWD

1. Remove the following components as an assembly. Refer to Front Suspension Crossmember Replacement .

•	The front suspension crossmember

•	The trans support

•	The front control arms

•	The stabilizer shaft

•	The stabilizer shaft links

•	The stabilizer shaft clamps

•	The stabilizer shaft insulators




2. Remove the 4 bolts from the stabilizer shaft clamps.
3. Remove the 2 stabilizer shaft clamps.
4. Remove the 2 stabilizer shaft insulators.

1. Position the stabilizer shaft on the crossmember.
2. Install the 2 stabilizer shaft insulators to the stabilizer shaft.
3. Install the 2 clamps to the insulators.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

4. Install the 4 bolts to the clamps.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 19 N·m (14.0 lb ft).

5. Install the stabilizer shaft and the crossmember to the vehicle. Refer to Front Suspension Crossmember Replacement .

Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement AWD

1. Remove the front suspension crossmember. Refer to Front Suspension Crossmember Replacement in Frame and Underbody.



2. Remove the 4 bolts and the 2 stabilizer shaft clamps.
3. Remove the 2 stabilizer shaft insulators.

1. Install the 2 stabilizer shaft insulators to the stabilizer shaft.
2. Install the 2 clamps and the 4 bolts to the insulators.
3. Install the crossmember to the vehicle. Refer to Front Suspension Crossmember Replacement in Frame and Underbody.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

4. Tighten the 4 bolts to the clamps.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 19 N·m (14.0 lb ft).
