Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

Important: Before installing the window into the door, check to see that the bottom channels are securely attached to the window. If a channel is loose, note the location of the channel on the window and then remove the channel from the window. Clean all remaining adhesive from the channel. Apply a bead of Automix Channel Bonding and Sidelite Adhesive, 3M P/N 08641, or equivalent, to the channel and install the channel onto the window. Refer to adhesive manufacturer's instructions for cure time.
