J 25070 Heat Gun

1. Apply protective tape (2) around the molding (3).
2. Heat the molding using the J 25070 . Apply heat using a circular motion for about 30 seconds.

Notice: Refer to Exterior Trim Emblem Removal Notice in the Preface section.

3. Remove the molding (3) from the door using a plastic flat-bladed tool.
4. Wash the area with soapy water and wipe dry.
5. Remove all traces of adhesive from the door using a oil-free naptha or alcohol.

Important: Do not touch the adhesive backing on the molding.

1. Remove the backing on the molding.
2. Align the positioning pins (1) of the molding to the positioning holes on the door.
