Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    3. Object Number: 882531 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
  4. Remove the retaining screw, then the Shift Lock Control Module/Shift Lock Solenoid assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 882531 Size: SH
  1. Install the Shift Lock Control Module/Shift Lock Solenoid assembly, then the retaining screw (2).
  2. Connect the electrical connector (1).
  3. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
