Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 242352 Size: SH
  1. Open the door.
  2. Remove the bolt (3) that retains the rear door check link (2) to the door jamb.

    3. Object Number: 627022 Size: SH
  3. Remove the following components from the door (2):
    4. ā€¢ The rear door weatherstrip (1)
    ā€¢ The plastic retainers

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 627022 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear door weatherstrip (1) to the door (2). Ensure that the plastic retainers are completely engaged.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 242352 Size: SH
  2. Install the bolt (3) that retains the rear door check link (2) to the door jamb.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 5.5 NĀ·m (49 lb in).
