Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement

    2. Object Number: 2016878 Size: SH
  2. Separate the 2 wire harness clamps from the battery carrier.

    3. Object Number: 2016881 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 2 bolts (1, 2).
  4. Separate the radiator pipe from the battery carrier.
  5. Remove the 4 bolts and battery carrier.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the battery carrier with the 4 bolts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 19 N·m (14 lb  ft).


    Object Number: 2016881 Size: SH
  2. Connect the radiator pipe with the 2 bolts (1, 2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 8.8 N·m (78 lb  in).


    Object Number: 2016878 Size: SH
  3. Connect the 2 wire harness clamps.
  4. Install the battery clamp with the bolt and nut.

    5. Tighten

        • Tighten the bolts to 6.5 N·m (58 lb  in).
        • Tighten the nut to 3.5 N·m (31 lb  in).
  5. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement.
