Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 Vibe - FWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls and Fuel - 2.4L (LAX) 🢒 Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2016519 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the ventilation hose (1) from the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

    3. Object Number: 2016523 Size: SH
  3. Using a 22 mm deep socket wrench (1), remove the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2017142 Size: SH
  1. Apply adhesive (1) to 2 or 3 threads of the ventilation valve.

    2. Three bond 1324 or equivalent


    Object Number: 2016523 Size: SH
  2. Using a 22 mm deep socket wrench (1), install the ventilation valve.

    3. Tighten
    19 N·m (14 lb ft)

  3. Connect the ventilation hose.
  4. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
  5. Inspect for oil leak.
