Removal Procedure
- Remove the front side door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
- Reposition the window (1) to access bolts (2).
- Remove the bolts (2).
- Remove the window (1) by pulling up and out of the door.
Note: Be careful when removing the bolts as the door glass may fall, causing damage.
Installation Procedure
- Insert the front door glass (1) into the front door along the door glass run channel.
- Reposition the window (1) and install the bolts (2). Tighten the window-to-regulator bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
- Install the front side door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
Note: Before installing the window into the door, check to see that the bottom channels are securely attached to the window. If a channel is loose, note the location of the channel on the window and then remove the channel from the window. Clean all remaining adhesive from the channel. Apply a bead of Automix Channel Bonding and Sidelite Adhesive, 3M P/N 08641, or equivalent, to the channel and install the channel onto the window. Refer to adhesive manufacturer's instructions for cure time.
