Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 Vibe - FWD 🢒 Body Hardware and Trim 🢒 Interior Trim and Paneling 🢒 Liftgate Wiper Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear wiper arm. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement.
  2. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 2010897 Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear wiper motor grommet.

    4. Object Number: 2010898 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
  5. Remove the remove the three bolts (1) and the rear wiper motor assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2010898 Size: SH
  1. Position the wiper motor assembly to the liftgate.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the three bolts (1) to the wiper motor assembly and tighten to 5.5 N·m (49 lb in).
  3. Connect the electrical connector (2).

    4. Object Number: 2010900 Size: SH
  4. Apply mulit-purpose grease to the entire surface of the wiper motor grommet lip (1).

    5. Note: Make sure that the hole does not get clogged with grease and the grooves on the lip are filled with grease.

  5. Instal the wiper motor grommet.
  6. Install the rear wiper arm. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement.
  7. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.
