Some customers may comment on poor acceleration and/or a throttle body that is frozen shut or stuck closed after a cold soak in temperatures of -15°C (5°F) or below. DTCs P1516, P2106 and/or P2110 may be set in the ECM.
Reprogram the engine control module (ECM) with the appropriate calibration following the procedure below.
Important: Prior to reprogramming, check the battery voltage state. If the battery is not fully charged, charge the battery.
Important: Prior to reprogramming, make sure the Tech 2® is updated with the latest software.
Important: Prior to reprogramming, make sure Service Programming System has TIS 9.5 2006 (or later) software loaded.
