Headlamps Hatchback
To replace a headlamp bulb:
Open the hood. See
Hood Release
.
Remove the five screws from top of the radiator grille and remove the radiator grille.
Remove the three bolts from the headlamp assembly and remove the headlamp assembly.
Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the rear of the bulb.
Remove the headlamp cap.
Release the spring that retains the bulb by loosening the screw.
Remove the old bulb and install the new bulb.
Install the bulb retaining spring and tighten the screw.
Reinstall the headlamp cap.
Reconnect the wiring harness at the rear of the bulb.
Reinstall the headlamp assembly and the three bolts.
Reinstall the radiator grille and five screws at the top of the grille.
Headlamps Sedan
To replace a headlamp bulb:
Open the hood. See
Hood Release
for more information.
Remove the three bolts from the headlamp assembly and remove the headlamp assembly.
Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the rear of the bulb.
Remove the headlamp cap.
Release the spring that retains the bulb.
Remove the old bulb and install the new bulb.
Install the bulb retaining spring.
Reinstall the headlamp cap.
Connect the wiring harness connector at the rear of the bulb.
Reinstall the headlamp and the three bolts.
