Circuit/System Description
Low speed wiper motor operation is controlled by suppling ignition voltage through the wiper switch to the wiper motor low speed circuit.

Circuit/System Verification
Ignition ON, verify the high speed windshield wipers operate.

Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the windshield wiper motor.
- Ignition ON wiper switch in the low position, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the wiper motor low speed circuit terminal 5 and ground.
- If all circuits test normal replace the windshield wiper motor.
| ⇒ | If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the wiper motor low speed circuit terminal 5 for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal replace the wiper switch. |
