Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2042550 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Pull the ECM connector lever.
  3. Disconnect the ECM connector (1).

    4. Object Number: 2042551 Size: SH
  4. Remove the ECM bracket retaining nuts (2).
  5. Remove the ECM (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2042551 Size: SH
  1. Install the ECM (1).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the ECM bracket retaining nuts (2) and tighten to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 2042550 Size: SH
  3. Connect the ECM connector (1).
  4. Push the ECM connector lever.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
