Installing 20 Inch Saab 97x Aero Wheels on Non Aero Equipped 97x - keywords ABS accessory appearence inch stability tire twenty

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some Saab 97x owners have inquired about installing the new 2008 Saab 97x Aero wheels and tires on a non-Aero equipped 97x. Currently, this is not an option available for dealers to perform. The 97x Aero has unique shock tuning, calibrations for the stability system/traction control and Powertrain that are not currently available to other Saab 97x vehicles. Installing the 20" tires from the 97x Aero with out the enhancements listed above, will not allow the vehicle handle correctly.

It is not recommended nor supported by engineering to install 20" wheels on a non-Aero equipped Saab 97x.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
