The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Loss of communication with one or various modules and any one of the following DTC may set. DTCs P0700 U0001 U0073 U0101 U2100 U2105 C0244 P1689. This may be the result of the main body harness chaffing on the drivers front upper control arm bolt. This
concern applies to vehicles equipped with a V8 engine only.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Raise the vehicle, look through the driver's wheel opening. Locate the main body harness that travels near the upper control arm. Inspect for any chafing of this harness at the control arm bolt or as it is routed toward the front of the vehicle between
the body and frame. If the harness was found to be affected, repair all damaged wires and reroute the harness to prevent future concerns.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
