Wheelhouse Panel Replacement Front End
Removal Procedure
- Remove the push-pins from the wheelhouse liner.
- Remove the bolt that retains the wheelhouse liner to the rocker molding.
- Remove the wheelhouse liner from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the wheelhouse liner to the vehicle.
- Install the push-pins that retain the wheelhouse liner to the body.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the bolt that retains the wheelhouse liner to the rocker molding.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Wheelhouse Panel Replacement Rear End
Removal Procedure
- Remove the bolt that retains the wheelhouse panel to the rocker panel molding.
- Remove the screws that retain the wheelhouse panel to the rear fascia.
- Remove the push-pins retaining the wheelhouse panel to the wheelhouse.
- Remove the wheelhouse panel from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the wheelhouse panel to the vehicle.
- Install the push-pins retaining the panel to the wheelhouse.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the screws that retain the wheelhouse panel to the rear fascia.
Tighten
Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
- Install the bolt that retains the wheelhouse panel to the rocker panel molding.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 7 N·m (62 lb in).
