The purpose of this bulletin is to advise dealer service personnel of a new labor operation number that is being established for shift cable adjustment. This labor operation should be used to adjust the shift cable when a customer brings their vehicle into the dealership with the condition of a shift indicator not reading the correct gear.
Labor Operation K5180 should only be used for replacement of the shift cable and no longer used for adjustment of the shift cable
