This PI was superseded to update Recommendation/Instructions. Please discard PIT3737D.
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
The "Overspeed" warning is designed for "Export" vehicles ONLY. This concern is typically found after the IPC was sent out for repairs or exchanged for an unrelated concern. Upon installing the new IPC into the vehicle, no SPS programming took place. This
will cause the "Overspeed" warning to sound. This IPC needs to be programmed SPS through TIS2WEB.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Program the IPC using TIS2WEB selecting the latest calibrations available. Be sure to select Replace and Reprogram when programming the service part.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
