The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment that their outside rear view mirrors do no recall with RKE (Remote Keyless Entry) or from the memory buttons 1 and 2 on the drivers door. This is due to a design change for the 2008 model year. The customers owners manual is not correct. There is no mirror recall using the RKE FOB or memory buttons 1 and 2 on the drivers door.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Normal operation. No repairs are recommended for this concern.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
