The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some transmissions in these vehicles may use revised torque converter housing to case bolts (#94 in SI document 1553204) also see the picture below. The original bolt design is on the left and the updated design is on the right. These bolts have a revised
head and require a unique tool for removal or installation.
Recommendation/Instructions:

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
